Department 137

Department 137 is a sorcerous library and school, its teachings encompassing the Theanoan School of Sorcery, Technically all Sidereal Exalted are under its aegis and have access to its libraries, though not all take an active interest. Its archives of sorcerous knowledge are extensive, and members of the Standing Committee on Sorcerous Affairs within the Bureau of Heaven have argued that these (and the school itself) ought be transferred to their control… a proposal firmly opposed by the Bureau of Destiny.

While Department 137 is a depository of immense sorcerous knowledge, it remains an organ of the Celestial Bureaucracy, officially a department of the Division of Secrets. Some Sidereal Exalted instead store texts and conduct research outside the view of their Heavenly peers and overseers by way of facilities in Creation. The most potent of these, employed by Sidereals of the Bronze Faction, is the Heptagram.
