Dancing Hen Mushroom

Dancing Hen mushrooms are fungi which grow at the base of trees, from an underground tuber-like structure about the size of a potato. The fruiting body is a large cluster consisting of multiple grayish-brown caps which are often curled or spoon-shaped, with wavy margins. The mushrooms can grow large, some reaching over 50 pounds.
Dancing Hen is used both in cooking and medicinally, where it is said to strengthen the body as it attempts to fight off sickness or infection.
