Dalam-Rendal is the god of Central Peace and god of Order, serving under the God of Peace Yo Ping in the Bureau of Heaven’s Department of Abstract Matters. Dalam-Rendal is a god of peace through social order, wherein every individual understands their place within a common culture and hierarchy. It should come as no surprise that Dalam-Rendal is a staunch supporter of the Immaculate Order, which offers a shared faith and Perfected Hierarchy that promises peace across Creation.

Even before the Order, Dalam-Rendal has long been affiliated with the Bronze Faction, a fact which puzzles gods such as Yo Ping and Uvanavu who opposed the Usurpation. But while they warned that the ouster of the Solar Exalted would transform order into chaos, Dalam-Rendal argued that the Solars themseves were too far removed from their subjects, leading to the horrors witnessed in the Golden Age. With the Solars gone and the Sidereal Exalted swearing to remove themselves to Heaven, the Terrestrial Exalted who would inherit the Creation-Ruling Mandate would remain close to their mortal peers, sharing directly in their societies, and thus would not forget that those who rule have obligations just as deep, if not deeper, as those who are ruled.

The monks of the Immaculate Order likely remain unaware, and the Sidereal Exalted who devised the scriptures certainly do not talk of it, but the hand of Dalam-Rendal in the Immaculate Faith is deeper than mere support: the god of Order’s role has been far more intimate than that. The chaos of the Shogunate Era was horrific, and particularly harmful to Dalam-Rendal, his position likely only held because many gods thought the post’s importance would only continue to plummet. Unwilling to violate the proper way of things by taking power in Creation himself, the god attempted to cajole and encourage Dragonblooded to abandon their warring ways in favour of proper order. Voices prodded by the God of Order joined to nascent ideas from the Dragonblooded seeking to repair a world they saw going awry, and the efforts of the Sidereal Exalted to impose the enlightenment required for the Dragonblooded to acquire the power they would need to defend Creation, became a seed from which a Faith was sprouted.

While always unwilling to impose or exert his power directly, Dalam-Rendal has remained close to the Order ever since, offering encouragement that its path was right. Certainly the first Mouth of Peace was known to have conversed with him on how best order might be brought to Heaven and Earth, and his voice has been raised constantly in debate against gods in Yu Shan who attempt to decry the Prayer Calendar. Some say it was his words to the COUNCIL OF NOTCEA which finally broke impasse and birthed unity, where he spoke to the assembled nestors and theologians that the gods of Heaven needed the example of a righteous and united Order of the Immaculate Faith as much as did the mortals of Creation in order for peace to be achieved.

Dalam-Rendal’s interests are not without ambitions. The god of Order certainly wishes to ascend to become God of Peace, but despite encouragement from some within the Bronze Faction has not pushed to supplant Yo Ping. This is because the current God of Peace was favoured for the post by the Unconquered Sun himself, and it is not Dalam-Rendal’s place to rise into another’s station. This has not stopped the god of Central Peace from debating proper policy with the Celestial Minister of Harmony, for Dalam-Rendal harbors no doubt that when the Unconquered Sun speaks once more he will affirm the correctness of the Perfected Hierarchy and the Prayer Calendar. Yo Ping’s mistaken objections are not malicious, simply mistaken, and the god will be convinced in time as the Immaculate Order spreads across Creation and brings with it lasting peace.

Were Dalam-Rendal to learn of Yo Ping’s membership in the [[Syndics] of Whitewall, a flagrant violation of both Immaculate strictures and the laws of Heaven set down by the Most High, he would consider the Celestial Minister to have betrayed Sol Invictus, and unlike those who fear the wrath of the Sun should they harm or supplant his onetime favourites the god of Central Peace would do all in his power to see Yo Ping destroyed and himself elevated to the post so he might impose proper peace and order. While he is a god of Peace, Dalam-Rendal has mastered all of the known Immaculate Martial Arts, and several styles which proved too potent for Terrestrial Essence, as part of his interactions with the Immaculate Philosophy, and has many powers to impose peace and order upon the unwilling, making him a dangerous combatant.

Chejop Kejak, well aware of this and the consequences that would erupt from such a conflict, has taken measures to ensure Dalam-Rendal remains entirely in the dark about Yo Ping’s missteps. However, the Time of Tumult presents a thousand dooms which pull at his resources, rendering this ever more difficult...
