Cynis Wisel Walawa is a Senator of the House Cynis caucus in the Deliberative, wed to fellow Senator Ledaal Mularin. Though not known for pushing the extremes of debauchery for which her House is renowned, Walawa is a common sight at the galas of Pangu and the Imperial City. She is particularly noted for keeping a fang of Forest Elephants who graze the grounds of her manse in Pangu until called upon to heft howdahs and transport their mistress to and from the Capital or on hunting expeditions. Many of her fellow Cynis Senators join her on her return journey, when the howdahs are bridged to form surface for a mobile salon that carries the spirit of the Palace of Trees back to the City.

In debate, Walawa is known for well-considered questions, demanding those proposing legislation expand upon the ripple effects new laws will have on seemingly unrelated institutions of the Realm. She is a supporter of a militarist policy towards the Threshold, particularly in suppression of the cattle-herding tribes of Harbourhead and the Great Grass Sea, whom she considers to be disruptive when left free and salvageable only through the enlightening bonds of slavery.
