Chamomile

Chamomile is a common flowering herb, whose flower head features a yellow disc and white ray petals.
Chamomile is used in Medicine, as a gentle aid to bring on restful sleep or to calm stomach pains and irritated bowels. It has been seen to have a severely detrimental effect on pregnant mothers, sometimes even triggering miscarriages.
For medical applications chamomile is prepared in the form of a slow-steeped tea made from its flowers.
