It is with greatest regret that I must amend my eager acceptance of your invitation. M mind is not what it was, and it seems commitments loom on the calender which I am not sure I can avoid.

I do have a day on the morrow from your party, positioned to host a meeting of friends seeking to reconnect, and I hope you can join me at sunset on the 23rd, at the Blossoming Orchid Pavilion, in the Palace.
