Blue Mountains Prefecture

Blue Mountains Prefecture is a small administrative division of the Blessed Isle, located north of Lord’s Crossing Dominion. Blue Mountains is not heavily populated, its capital at Olive-Skinned-Maiden home to perhaps 40,000 people, barely large enough to merit a prefectural seat.

Blue Mountains is home to a few Dynastic and patrician hunting lodges, known for the beautiful vistas of mountain valleys and waterfalls, particularly at sunset when Sol’s orange light colours the sky with pink and the mountains blue and purple.

In terms of economy, the prefecture is primarily agricultural, producing sand pears, apples, carrots, and beets. Much of its produce is used in production of vinegars, or pickled, and exported, while rice is imported due to low local production. The prefecture is best known for the bounty of mushrooms found on the slopes of its mountains.
