Blessed Rivers

Blessed Rivers is a small kingdom on the banks of the Rock River and Valourous River where their flows meet. The kingdom’s primary economic activity is taxation, as ships moving up and down either river must pay tariffs for passage. They also construct river trade vessels.

Blessed Rivers is a satrapy of the Realm, beholden to House Peleps... the Scarlet Empire and the Realm receive a cut of the river tariffs, so most merchants in the area can do little but moan as Imperial Navy vessels might otherwise arrive to ‘defend the customs inspectors of our most loyal Threshold tributary”. The Guild, normally ready to defend against such abuses, seems unconcerned, perhaps as the routes through the kingdom compete with their near-monopoly over trade up and down the Silver River through Linowa.
