Appearance: Banded agate is typically shades of green and brown, and contains ring bands, suggesting tree rings.
Description: Agate gemstones are associated with dragon lines of Wood and Earth. Agates are easily carved, and thus see use across Creation both in smaller ornaments for the merchant classes and huge carved stones displayed by the nobility.
Banded agate is particularly popular with Wood-aspected Dragonblooded as its rings and branch-like shapes allow it to resemble trees and greenery in locations where a Terrestrial anima would obliterate most actual flora.
