Wavecap mushrooms are a type of fungi which are commonly found growing in rotting wood or mulch. They have brown, wavy caps, and turn a bright cyan colour where bruised, though this reduces their effect as a drug. They are native to the northeastern Threshold.
They can be eaten fresh or dried, and have a very bitter taste. They have a potent psychoactive effect. Wavecaps are unsuitable for preparation of teas if one seeks their psychoactive effects, as heat renders this trait out of the mushrooms.
