The Villa of Ascendant Equity is a walled villa in the Seven Sages District of the Imperial City, and current residence of the sorcerer-mycologist Ledaal Aleval.

The Villa has long been in the posession of House Ledaal, who assigned it to various sorcerers they deemed in need of housing in the Capital. Its design is traditional, with a central garden and northward residential building, but the regular shifting of inhabitants, and the proclivities of the sorcerous set, have left it in a state of disrepair unfit for Dynastic entertaining: Scorch marks and broken tiles course across the walls, the garden pond is muddied with sand, the furnishings within the villa itself in poor repair.

And yet, there have been recent changes to the Villa. In the gardens, though not a development most in the Scarlet Dynasty would consider aesthetically pleasing, several rotting oak trunks have been placed, while cellars once filled with dusty wine bottles and yellowed scrolls are now lined with shelves of earth in which Aleval grows all manner of mushrooms. Though the building itself is not a Manse and does not channel its own essence, numerous First Age devices have been installed across the Villa, allowing airflow to be controlled into and out of several cellar chambers where fungal experiments are underway.
