This smooth oval stone glistens silver in the light, seeming to pulsate with some barely-contained power. Some who have borne it at length have sworn to see shapes ripple across its surface, arcane sigils and mouths reciting ritual verses, but no observer removed from the Orb has ever witnessed such a thing.

Anyone bearing the Third Hand Gem can take one Shape Sorcery action reflexively per action; this allows for the casting of two spells at once, one by the Orb and one by the bearer, or for the bearer to act normally while her spell is formed. If the spell has a Sustain requirement (such as [[Stormwind Rider]]) the Orb can manage the Sustain for the bearer allowing normal actions, though this removes the ability to cast spells reflexively until the Sustain is dropped.

An incomparable asset to a sorcerer bearing this hearthstone, the Third Hand Orb almost seems to have an intelligence of its own. The stone takes up the weaves of essence from its master when shaping and controlling spells, allowing the bearer to focus his attentions on other matters.

Anyone bearing the Third Hand Gem can take one Shape Sorcery action reflexively per action; this allows for the casting of two spells at once, one by the Orb and one by the bearer, or for the bearer to act normally while her spell is formed. If the spell has a Sustain requirement (such as Stormwind Rider) the Orb can manage the Sustain for the bearer allowing normal actions, though this removes the ability to cast spells reflexively until the Sustain is dropped.
