Mnemon Barin is a well-bred Senator in the House Mnemon caucus of the Deliberative, and the husband of senator Sesus Alon. Their offspring include senators Sesus Sunari, Sesus Kopas, & Sesus Zenner, and the sorcerer Sesus Sanahra.
His wife's position as head of one of the five branches of House Sesus gives Barin some leeway in voting, freedom to deviate from the caucus line imposed by Chair Mnemon Taira. Few however, envy Barin when the interests of his House and his household stand opposed, for neither Alon nor princess Mnemon are known for their tolerance of insubordination. That he has been able to deftly weave his way between the two speaks to his personable nature: Barin is a likeable sort, and slow to anger or annoy.
This connection is not all difficult for Barin, of course, as he is well-positioned to take the lead on ensuring the connections of blood between House Sesus and House Mnemon can expand to connections of voting blocks on the Deliberative floor.
