This dull-surfaced reddish stone glows with a soft orange light, resembling a hot coal drawn out of a fire. Found across Creation, these stones are known as Ignition Gems or Ember Stones.
An Ignition Gem possesses a number of innate powers which are active even if its bearer is not attuned to the stone: the Gem emits about the same level of heat as a hot water bottle. This warmth provides no direct mechanical benefit, but can be quite pleasant in cold climates, and is present even if no one is attuned to the stone.
