The Fortress of Solitary Contemplation is a manse entrusted to House Cathak, located in the Scarlet Prefecture just to the south of Sentinel's Hearth. It is home to the reclusive sorcerer-artificer Cathak Adlai, whose privacy is enforced by a cadre of private mercenaries.
The fortress consists of a cylindrical tower of blue-grey stone, its ground floor smooth and featureless save for a single keyhole-shaped gate of steel and bronze.
