Through all this world strode Jylis: thrice his foot he planted,
and flowers pollinated in his footstep's dust.
Sextes, the guardian, he whom none deceiveth, made three steps, thenceforth
establishing his high decrees!
Look ye on the works of Jylis and hew to the holy.
The dragons evermore behold that loftiest place of Sextes, like
an eye extended through the heavens.
This, Jylis' station most sublime, the sages, ever-vigilant,
lovers of holy song, light up.
May the gods rejoice in the upholding of Law!
