The 8th Imperial Legion is currently deployed in the northern Threshold, its largest concentration seeing mercenary service backing the rulers of the Deshan slave-states.
Amongst its battle honours it can list the conquest of Azerban in RY259, while Prince Sesus was serving as the Legion's strategoi.
