Ledaal Thoren, born RY618, is a middle-aged Senator of House Ledaal’s Deliberative caucus. A graduate of the Heptagram, Thoren has spent much of his life as a scholar and Scavenger Lord studying the mysteries of the First Age, remaining a noted expert in the field. It was this expertise that saw the Scarlet Empress appoint him to the Senate in RY738 (though, some whisper, this prevented him from taking up appointment as a teacher of the Seven-Pointed School).

In the Deliberative Thoren was previously absent from the floor for most votes, embarked on various Threshold expeditions, but has remained in the Capital permanently since the fall of Thorns. He has been a steady supporter of state-sponsored archeological expeditions, and of opening access to various ruins and archeological sites, and in more recent years has added to this calls for research into the First Age, where he holds will be found the key to defeating the Deathlords. While some consider sorcerers to be distant from the Immaculate Faith, Thoren is known to be a faithful adherent of the Immaculate Order, and consistently casts votes in support of the Palace Sublime.
