Paddy Straw Mushroom

Paddy Straw mushrooms are a form of fungus usually found growing in piles of rice straw. Their stems are white and their caps are white or pale white-green in colour. They are found across Creation, most commonly in the Scavenger Lands and Blessed Isle.

Paddy Straw mushrooms are edible, the primary fungal component of the peasant diet on the Blessed Isle, though they are not much used in finer cuisine. Depending on coloration, they can be mistaken for the fatally poisonous Death Cap Mushroom.
