Cathak Curella is a middle-aged Senator of the Deliberative's Greater Chamber and a member of the House Cathak caucus. Considered level-headed and strictly legalistic, Curella seeks a stable Realm which follows the letter of the law, and whose legislature is proper in painting those letters.

Curella was amongst the Senators involved in the negotiations at the Council of the Empty Throne which saw Tepet Fokuf appointed Imperial Regent. In the years since she has broken with that clique over the Regent's incompetence and immoralities, which she views as unacceptable for the leader of the Realm.

In debate, Curella is quick to criticize the implications of poor wording, or to bring up the conflicts a new law would have with extant ones. She is considered intelligent but honest, and shining a lantern on the missteps of other Senators has earned her many enemies, particularly in House Cynis which has recently retaliated by way of caucus member Cynis Riho targeting Curella for distraction during her speeches.
