The Immortal Blending Method is a technique for the ageing of liquids, typically employed for wines, beers, vinegars, and hard liquors such as whiskeys, brandies, or some rice spirits. The basic instructions for the Method can be found in the Immaculate Texts.

Immortal Blending uses a series of barrels filled with the product to be aged, each barrel filled in succession on the same day of the next year from the previous filling. When considered sufficiently mature, the oldest barrel is tapped and half of its content is removed to be consumed. The barrel is then refilled with product from the next-oldest barrel, and is filled from the next barrel and so on. This creates a blend from product of different ages, and as no barrel is ever fully drained the product that is removed for consumption will always contain traces of the very first and oldest product. In this way, much like an Immortal Loaf, each barrel lives on forever in subsequent barrels.
