The Burning Kiln winery is a manse estate and seaside retreat located in Miwoc on the coastline of Marin Bay, owned by Cynis Odassa and Cynis Tiburon. The site includes a dock for pleasure yachts.
Originally a vacation villa with attached Tobacco plantation and flue-drying kilns, Burning Kiln was transformed between RY708 and RY714 into a vineyard and winery, using the old kilns to instead dry the harvested grapes before juicing into wine. Burning Kiln wines are said to carry a deeper flavor, with hints of sweet tobacco leaf, from this process.
