This hearthstone is a smooth oval, the transluscent blue of waves on an ivory shore. It empowers its bearer to enjoy a peaceful, restful sleep free of nightmares, trumping any external circumstances (such as climate, deprivation, and noise). In addition, any Charm, magic or drug that attempts to turn the bearer's dreams against them (including attempts by another to invade the bearer’s dreams, such as a Stone of Dream Entrance) suffer a -2 external penalty.

Note that some nightmares, such as those caused by the the Nightmares Flaw or unpleasant memories of Past Lives, are extraordinary impositions on restful sleep, but neither an external circumstance, nor a Charm, magic, or drug, and the Lullaby Stone can provide no succour. You scrib.
