Arguments is an Immaculate document concerning the behaviour of spirits as they interact with the mortals of Creation. It presents a number of behaviours (the Hundred Gods Heresy, claims to political posts or contract relations with mortals, definition of spirits as beings existing separate from their duties, etc) and the arguments against them, then cites the condemnation of such behaviours from the Immaculate Texts and from Celestial Law.

The scroll’s arguments are complex, its target audience Immaculate monks and spirits whose lives give them some understanding of the Celestial Bureaucracy... proper understanding requires Bureaucracy • and Occult ••. For Immaculate monks, the texts also provides citations for arguing the legitimacy of the Immaculate Texts with resistant spirits, showing that the demands of the Texts mirror the letter of Heaven’s laws.
