By Virtuous Moonsilver Song

Smelting Techniques of the River Province is a book detailing various techniques of smelting and casting metal for use in armourcraft employed in the area now known as the Scavenger Lands, with mention of methods favoured in such cities as Hollow, Deheleshen, and (occupying the bulk of the text) Denandsor. Moonsilver Song seems enamoured with the development of ‘single-pour smelt casting’ in Denandsor, where raw ores are shaped through a single process into metal armour. Moonsilver Song also praises the movement of Denandsor away from reliance on mortal wearers for armour, claiming that to truly perfect armour one must build both armour and wearer together as one. The author predicts a future where “the armoursmith shall at last be freed from the chains which bind him to girding worthless mortals and pathetic Terrestrials, those pointless beings swept away and forgotten by a tide of perfected automata ready to bear the highest achievements of our craft.”

The book can serve as a training manual for Craft (Fire) - Armorsmithing.
