Morning Mist Mushroom

Morning Mist mushrooms are native to the foothills of the Imperial Mountain, growing in symbiotic relationships with trees around Juche Prefecture and Lord’s Crossing Dominion and exported elsewhere. They have also been encouraged to grow in other locales around Creation, but the manner of their symbiosis makes organized cultivation difficult. They are small mushrooms, with brown caps and brown-white stems.

Morning Mists are edible and popular in cooking. They have a very bitter taste when raw, but this vanishes with cooking. The cooked mushroom has a pleasant, firm, slightly crunchy texture and a slightly nutty flavor. It is used in a variety of dishes, including soups and stirfrys.
