Ledaal Kari is a Senator of House Ledaal's caucus in the Deliberative. Kari served as an officer in the Imperial Navy, rising to command the vessel Swift-Striking Spear of Danaa'd, before serving time in the Foreign Office, eventually being elevated to the Greater Chamber by the Scarlet Empress.

In debate, Kari is considered a reasoned, but painfully boring, orator. At the start of her Deliberative career, Kari stood firmly in the anti-militarist camp, opposing Legion deployments… this birthed a backlash from the Deliberative's militarists, particularly Cynis Deyan and the former Legion officers of the House Cathak caucus, who amongst other charges accused Kari of having fabricated a false tale of bravery in the Relief of Fort Vermillion in order to further her own political career… House Peleps in turn charged that such accusations were without merit, though as the official record from the Ministry of Scrupulous Observance of History remained 'under review' the matter was never settled, only reducing to a simmer. In the years since, though still maintaining many connections with the Peleps caucus, Kari has moved more towards the militarist line, and in the present day is a strong voice in favour of Legion intervention against the Deathlords.
