Said by some to be an Immaculate parable, and by others to be heretical. The Sutra of the Empty Kitchen has seen much discussion amongst the Immaculate faithful, particularly those of House Cathak, since the dissapearance of the Empress.

Once, there was a cook in the employ of a Prince of the Earth who found that preparing the great one's food no longer suited him. Without a word, he left his kitchen and walked into the setting sun.

"Where has he gone?" asked the fork.

"What shall we do without him?" asked the spoon.

The knife asked no questions. Every day, it ground itself against the fork and the spoon, and it grew sharper. It wore away the fork and spoon to nothing, and grew so sharp that it cut through the drawer that held it, through the cutting boards, through the kitchen itself.

"I know my purpose," said the knife.
