Sheda is the god of Palanquins, sedan chairs, and other such human-borne conveyances, serving on the Board of Trade within the Bureau of Humanity’s Department of Universal Human Affairs.

In appearance, Sheda appears as a portly man bedecked in fine silks and heavy jewelry, his fingers ending in lacquered nails which extend several feet and his feet collapsed around each other to a width no thicker than his ankles. Lacking the balance to walk, the god is borne everywhere in Yu Shan on a chair mounted on the back of Enduringly Stable Foundation, god of palanquin-bearers.

Opportunistic, Sheda has long been a supporter of the weathy aristocrats who ensure his purview spreads throughout Creation, and is particularly fond of the Dragonblooded of the Scarlet Dynasty… he is far less supportive of the Immaculate Order, decrying the regulations of the Prayer Calendar and indulging in corruption… in exchange for prayer and sacrificial offerings, Sheda has blessed several Dynastic palanquins, assuring they move with particular speed and comfort.
