Peleps Daken is a male Water-aspected Senator of the House Peleps caucus in the Deliberative. He is a martial artist of note, and a practitioner of several Terrestrial Styles of Martial Arts. Unlike many Dynastic martial artists, however, Daken is far from devout, and does not practice any of the Immaculate Martial Arts.
While he has not openly disparaged the Immaculate Styles, as a legislator he has firmly opposed increased powers or funding to the Immaculate Order, and particularly the place of the Order and their martial arts in the schools of the Realm, having stated that each martial art is a path for advancement of the soul, and each soul ought be able to seek out the path which best carries it forward to enlightenment.’
