Sesus Kajak Odair is a Senator of the House Sesus caucus in the Deliberative. Before appointment to the Senate, Odair served a long career in the Imperial Legions, reaching the rank of Strategoi for the 10th Legion. Odair is the last survivor of a Sworn Brotherhood, though the loss has not broken his spirits as it does to some.

Considered a skilled warrior and excellent tactician during his time in the Legions, Odair continues to serve occasionally as a guest lecturer at the House of Bells, focusing on small officer-unit tactics and maintaining proper detachment from the rank and file. He is also sometimes called on to serve as tutor for students approaching primary school graduation, taking them in over their summers to train them for acceptance at the Bells.

In legislative record, Odair has long been a supporter of increased military spending and an aggressive Threshold policy… though differing from many House Cathak militarists in calling not for harsh destructive reprisals, but instead on record for suggestion that resistant satrapies or defiant Threshold states can be truck by limited campaigns whose goal is not seizing territory or destroying armies but taking slaves which will cover cost of operations.

Odair has served as a tutor and mentor to many younger Dynasts, including Cathak Aden, Cathak Anda, Mnemon Iora, Mnemon Tyrahal, Ragara Muir, Sesus Aggedon, Sesus Kajala, Sesus Kengayo , Sesus Xerxes, and others, most of whom have gone on to attend the House of Bells.
