Riverfish are those fish which dwell in the fresh waters of lakes and rivers, from the frozen-over ponds of the North to the babbling brooks of the Blessed Isle to the wide river systems of the River Province.
Compared to their cousins the Category:Seafish, riverfish are smaller, more bony, and leaner. Those versed in seafood tend to favour the seafish over the riverfish as a general rule, though their flavour tends to rise to great heights during the springtime from Descending Earth to Resplendent Wood.
