Aspect: Fire Rating: ••••• Manse: Factory-Cathedral of the Exalted Battle Girded in Power and Fury Bearer: Ragara Thannak-Tyros Source: Based on Oadenol's Codex pp. 95
The Fire-Eating Rock, borne of the great eruption of Fire and Solar essence encircled by potent flows of Earth essence which power the Cathedral of Battle, resembles a large globe of ash gray rock, flecked with bright red sparks that flicker and glow across its surface.
The Fire-Eating Rock gets its name from its ability to consume fire: at the will of the bearer, the Rock will consume all natural flames within (bearer’s Essence) yards of the Rock, from small candle flames to raging infernos. Though this does not repair or heal any damage already inflicted by fire, it renders formerly burning areas and objects cool to the touch, without even a whiff of smoke. This power also affects molten materials such as lava, transforming them into cool rock or metal.
Against magical fires, the Fire-Eating Rock is less potent, but remains a powerful defence. The bearer halves all damage inflicted from magical fire sources, after soak. The bearer is also entirely immune to the flames of Fire-aspected Dragonblooded animas, and Terrestrial Exalts of that type often find remaining long in the presence of the Rock to be discomforting even in its inactive state.
The Fire-Eating Rock possesses a third power, considered by Spirit Courts to be its most dangerous: it is able to consume fire elementals. Rules for this are found on page 95 of Oadenol’s Codex.
