Martial Arts are a complex field, at once a skill and an art. In one sense, Martial Arts governs the ability of characters to attack and defend when unarmed or equipped with weapons that supplement such motions. In another, Martial Arts is the body of Martial Arts styles, specific trees of Charms tied together by theme and stylistic elements, which are tied to a wide array of abilities besides Martial Arts…

Just kidding. Using one word to describe two different concepts, when one’s language provides a dozen different words to use unique to either would be a little silly, wouldn’t it?
Instead, ‘Martial Arts’ is a term to describe the essence-channeling fighting styles of Exalted, which weave together a number of abilities. For describing the ability which governs unarmed combat, we’ll just go with Brawl.
