The Black Treatise of Mela is a sorcerous manual believed to be written by the Immaculate Mela. Paired with the White Treatise, it forms the canon textbook for sorcerous instruction in the Realm and other states across Creation.
The Black Treatise is a spellbook. It teaches the basic methods of studying and practicing spells, as well as the five classic sorcerous spells currently used in Creation.
