Peleps Febaris Dainqok was a son of Peleps Febaris and Peleps Taxis. An anecdote tells that, on arriving at primary school at the age of nine, Dainqok attempted to impress his new classmates by mocking his mother, whose fearsome reputation was well-known, by terming her the ' Peleps Matri-shark'.
Overhearing this, Febaris berated the boy, educating him that all nicknames have meaning, and that if one is to be issued it must be a thing of quality, and one must well understand the consequences one brings in laying it. For example, mused Febaris, if she were to apply the style of 'Without Protection' to Dainqok, what would the results be? So, she continued, she must consider restraint. Turning to his now terrified friends as she departed, Febaris concluded, that, despite all of that, she felt the name rather fitting.
Peleps Dainqok did not survive to graduate primary school.
