This text is a technical treatise on the transfer of essence between [[Essence Circuit]]s and the other components of a [[:Category:Magitech|magitech artifact]], outlining various methods for materials including [[Adamant]] and [[Adamantine Glass]], brass, [[Marble]], various [[:Category:Gemstones|gemstones]], the Five Magical Materials, [[Iron|Malfean Iron]], and [[Feathersteel]].  


Though the language is far too technical for a layman to grasp, it does not reach the esoteric heights of many ancient magitech texts, instead tying theory to practical effect. A few selected excerpts are used in the training of thaumaturge-technicians in the [[:Category:Imperial Legions|Imperial Legions]], while the more advanced military magitech programs of [[Lookshy]]’s Seventh Legion and the [[House of Bells]] employ the complete text.


 This text can serve as a training manual for learning [[Essence Circuit]] Specialties in [[Craft Air (Ability]] and/or [[Occult (Ability)]]– up to a maximum of Craft Air or Occult 3.
