Perfect Master Toad is the god of Pecuniary Excess, serving within the [[Bureau of Humanity]]’s [[Board of Bribery & Finance]] in the Celestial Bureaucracy. Appearing as a rotund, toad-faced man whose skin seems overstuffed to the point of bursting, Perfect Master Toad is both likeably jovial and irritatingly flighty. He is a constant fixture of the [[Yu Shan]] party circuit, though he adamantly refuses to even entertain the idea of passing through the Gates into Creation.

This refusal may date from the [[Shogunate Era]], when the god was lured to visit the court of a Daimyo whose finances had collapsed. Amongst the god’s powers, Perfect Master Toad bleeds jade coins when his skin is pierced, and the daimyo had the god imprisoned and tapped to fund a grand military campaign, until the direct intervention of [[Chejop Kejak]] slew the offending Terrestrials and retrieved Perfect Master Toad, pulling him back to the safety of Heaven.
