This sea-blue dodecahedron serves to cleanse the mind of unnatural influences, and strengthens its bearer's resolve against attempts to dominate it. Bearers gain +1 to their Dodge MDVs. In addition, if touched to someone who is under any form of unnatural mental influence, the bearer may spend 1 temporary Willpower to give the target a chance to break free. If the target’s player wins or ties an opposed Willpower roll against the source of the unnatural influence, the stone instantly frees her from it. In cases where a target is subject to multiple UMI effects, the most recently inflicted is affected first (and subsequent WP expenditures by the bearer will affect remaining UMI in reverse order of imposition). 


Note that the roll to overcome UMI is NOT voluntary on the part of the target... the bearer spends 1WP and touches the target with the hearthstone, and the target is required to resist the UMI imposed on them, wether they wish it or not.
