Cynis Belar Aldaris is a middle-aged Senator of the [[House Cynis]] caucus in the Deliberative. A graduate of the [[Cloister of Wisdom]], he is a known practitioner of the [[Immaculate]] [[Fire Dragon Style]]. 

Unlike many of his housemates, Aldaris is considered a conservative legislator, decrying the excesses of the [[Scarlet Dynasty]] (usually meaning his own House, though those who think him a Cathak in Cynis clothing have been proven wrong with his criticisms of [[House Cathak]] militarism). He leaves no doubt that he supports the stability of the Realm, seeing good leadership and [[Immaculate]] presence as key to this: he was an associate of [[Cathak Curella]], but broke with her over opposition to the [[Council of the Empty Throne]], and though their positions have come closer in the time since they have not been seen to experience any personal rapprochement.
