Characters attune to a hearthstone seperately from a manse, allowing those who find hearthstones distant from their origins to use them. Attuning a hearthstone takes [[Rating] x 20] minutes, as does deattuning one. The process of attunement and deattunement is known instinctively by all essence users, and may be learned as a ritual by mortal thaumaturges.
