Water or Hydraulic organs are a rare musical instrument, an attempt by modern craftsmen to replicate the sound of the organs found only in the great Factory-Cathedrals. These reconstructions use flowing water to push air through the distinctive series of metal pipes, producing different pitches depending on their length. Designs vary between manual pumps to drive water and more natural designs relying on rivers and waterfalls; the latter are almost always a fixture in the garden of their owner.

Powered by water, expressing wind, lead or bronze pipes forged in fire, with ivory keys and wooden body, these organs embody all Five Elements of Creation in their construction.
