Murderkill River is a waterway found in the Scarlet Prefecture on the Blessed Isle, coursing northward from an origin near Toribeno to join the Imperial River flowing out to the Inner Sea. While the river is deep enough for navigation, the presence of several sections of rapids and its close association with the graveyard of the Imperial City means it is not frequented by trade barges, though farmers closer to the river mouth have tapped it for irrigation.
Rumours that the river is the site of murders and killings are surely mistaken.
