The Well-Bee is a large bee which exists in the Eastern Threshold, striped red and white, flying on small wings as it gathers pollen from flowers. A long, thin stinger is used to inject a venom if the bee feels threatened: this venom works as a local anesthetic on the victim, numbing the area where it passes through the skin.

The Well-Bee was engineered during the Golden Age to supply components needed for the health of Creation's mortals, anesthetics and hollow needles for production of [[Uvanavu's Kiss]]es. Many continue to reside in the wild, and [[The Guild]] oversees a number of large kept hives in the East from which it can harvest bees.
