Formerly an Outcaste officer in the [[:Category:Imperial Legions|Imperial Legions]], Dalyr was rewarded with a seat in the Lesser Chamber to mark his retirement. Upon adoption into [[House V'neef]] at its founding, he was elevated to the Greater Chamber. He provides a voice of experience to the hot-blooded [[Young Turks]] of the [[V'neef Caucus]], and retains some connections to the Lesser Chamber, though his experience of war sees him opposing military action in favour of alternate approaches such as Guild-style economic pressure. For this, Dalyr has been accused of 'pacifism' and cowardice by senators of [[House Cathak]] and [[House Tepet]].
