[[Tula the Elder]]’s [[Record of the Nineteen Shoguns]] is ostensibly an account of the reign of the first nineteen Shoguns of the [[Shogunate Era]], as they consolidated their rule in the wake of the [[Anathema]]’s ouster and the departure of the [[Immaculate Dragons]].

The text is banned in the Realm, due to the numerous deceptions found within the text by [[Office of Censors|Imperial Censors]] and the [[Immaculate Order]]. Unlike [[Jalan Dai]]’s [[Fire Chronicle]], many of these are considered subtle, with its subject matter containing truth but the perspective of whole text tainted by the [[Will of Hesiesh]] heresy in its descriptions.

[[Sesus Ketek|Some historians]] have also objected to issues such as the list of nineteen Shoguns suffering from the absence of names which other records show held Shogunal power at [[Meru]] during the time period covered by the book.
