Raging Conflagration is typical of the weapons produced by the Realm's artificers during the current era, a functional daiklave of red jade-steel alloy, heavy-edged with the blade shaped in a pattern of flames. The mon of Great House Cathak decorates the guard, a clue as to the source of its commission, which occurred many centuries after the ascension of the Scarlet Empress to leadership of the Realm. The blade served that House’s scions and officers across several lifetimes of Legion soldiery and daring adventure, and was passed from Dragonlord [[Cathak Kyosh]] to his daughter [[Cathak Carasa]] upon her graduation from the House of Bells. The blade left the family upon her death in the northern Threshold, falling into the hands of the Forsaken Anathema Blessed Ember.
