Peleps Jaffar is a male, Water-aspected Senator of the [[House Peleps]] caucus in the Deliberative, and husband of fellow Senator [[Mnemon Gerjeris]].

Jaffar is a well-known dilettante, a fixture at the galas and salons of the [[Imperial City]] where he is known to indulge freely in drink, narcotics, and the attentions of concubines. Drinks too much, does cocaine at parties, enjoys the attentions of concubines and Cynis dilettantes. He is also a prolific [[:Category:Falconry|falconer]], eager to unleash his favoured Southern [[Mospid]] upon quarry at hunting parties.

Jaffar is known to have a habit of inviting [[Patrician Clans|Patrician]] guests along to parties or [[Thousand Scales]] meetings gained due to his Senatorial rank, and has a friendly relationship with [[Blue Saffron]], local emissary of [[The Guild]] in the [[Imperial City]]… explaining his votes in support of loosening restrictions on Guild trade, though for the most part his agenda is social not legislative and he votes with his wife Senator Gerjeris,on most things.

Jaffar’s enjoyment of Dynastic soirees means he is also an excellent host, arranging opulent Feather Garden salons in his Imperial Palace quarters several times each year.
