Peleps Gurian is a male Water-aspected Senator of the [[House Peleps]] Deliberative caucus, and husband of fellow Senator [[Peleps Veely]], with whom he has children including naval officer [[Peleps Barse]] and Senator [[Peleps Miral]].

A graduate of the [[House of Bells]], Gurian served a long and active career in the Imperial Navy’s Water Fleet, gaining acclaim for several victories against the [[Lintha]] and the nickname ‘Seafist’ for his mastery of boarding actions.

Though he had retired from service, with the ascent of [[House V’neef]] he was called back to serve in the Senate to defend [[House Peleps]] and [[Imperial Navy]] interests, a task he has taken up with relish both in casting votes and in the violence of brawls.
