The range, as with nearly everywhere on the Isle, is home to numerous manses, villages, and estates, with fertile [[Rice]] terraces ascending many of its western slopes.

Legend speaks that Mhaltin was a [[Greater Elemental Dragon]] who once feuded mightily with the dragon [[Dhorash Mountains|Dhorash]] across the Plains, before the two grew weary and settled into slumber.
